Lewis Carroll (Charles Dodgson) did not "grow up" inYorkshire ("Alice's adventure inside geology", 15 September) but here inDaresbury, Halton, where he was born and lived for the first 11 years ofhis life. As for the source of the rabbit holes, you need only visit mygarden and our churchyard to see where the true source of his inspirationlies. Cheshire rabbits must have far better excavation skills than theirYorkshire friends and relations.
